Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative brain disease and the most common form of dementia. Dementia is not a specific disease. It’s an overall term that describes a group of symptoms.
Dementia affects three areas of the brain
1) Language / Speech
2) Decision Making
Compassionate Helpers® caregivers are required to complete dementia and alzheimer’s care mandatory training before they are place with a love one. Families will be able to feel a great sense of relief that their love ones are receiving the best care by certified caregiver that has successfully completed dementia training.
